Configuring Storage on IP3M-943W

Post by rk1234 »

Hi,

I recently purchased 2 x IP3M-943W Amcrest cameras and I have some problems configuring the storage

I have a very simple setup consisting of;
2 x IP3M-943W
1 x Seagate BlackArmor NAS
1 x Netgear Wireless Router

When trying to configure the cameras for either FTP or NFS storage I'm getting an error "Right Verification Failure"

I have tried / in directories for FTP and NFS and tried i \ in the username field, I still get the error

I have also tried Filezilla to connect to the FTP share and it works fine, which leaves me scratching my head.

Hopefully someone has seen this before.

Cheers

I have a NAS and was tearing my hair out trying to get it to write to the drive!

I then discovered a setting on the NAS called 'NFS Access' which needed to be enabled for the particular share I was using. I then had to enable the 'write' setting, to open up write permissions through NFS to the share.

On the camera GUI, I then needed to use the address format:

Server Address IP Address of NAS
Remote Directory /nfs/share_name

All working fine now :D

I have a WD My Cloud NAS but there may be a similar 'NFS' setting on your Seagate.

Yeh thanks I have that setting applied for the NFS shares.
