Hi I have the NV4108e connected with two IP2M-842E and one IP2M-841E recording to 4TB WD Purple HD.
I would like to know how to have it record only when there is motion detected and not have it record when there is no activity.
Currently I think it is recording nonstop. I went in to settings to record MD and on playback I am able to see the parts that are labeled as MD but also able to scrub through the recording that dont have any activity.
How to only record when Motion is detected on NV4108e

Hello Stealthster,
Under the NVR settings, please go to Storage > Schedule and set the recording schedule only for MD. Do not schedule for general recording if you do not want it to record all the time. This should correct the issue.
