Don't know might want to contact Amcrest about that. There should be no relation between the Amcrest Forum and your NVRs IE mode for your laptop. But I guess there has been stranger things.. Don't know how it would know one from the other. I mean if you were in IE mode and went to the forum in same tab I guess it might, But I don't use same tabs for different functions that is why right now using Chrome I have 12 tabs open so I can go back and forth between the things I am doing.. In Edge I use it only for my DVR/NVR and Ip cameras WebUI..
Be Safe.

Here is some good news for a change. Amcrest has agreed to replace my ASH47-W! I am packing it up for return right now. My ASH works great on Ethernet on my basement work bench, and I was trying to think of a way to get ethernet to the outside ASH location.

Best regards, Jim

Update on ASH47. The "refurbished" camera from Amcrest is no better than the one I returned. WIFI is useless. I have to have my Samsung tablet 6 inches from the camera before the hotspot connects. So, I decided to bite the bullet and use Ethernet. I drilled a 5/8 inch diameter hole through five inches of wood framing and siding in the basement. The 5/8 size was determined by using an ethernet cable I had and checking with the fittings on the ASH47. Then I bought a 25 foot ethernet cable. Everything going great, right? Wrong!! The new cable has a large connection to the RJ45 jack. I had to use a knife to remove most of the excess material surrounding the jack. This morning. I finish removing the excess material and made the connection to the ASH ethernet port. Everything looks good, ASH47 shows up in the 4108 device list , etc. The next warm day we get I will install the ASH on the outdoor mount.
