AmcrestViewPro app
AmcrestViewPro app
Been using the AmcrestViewPro app for several years now. Last few days I can see my DVR/cameras through the live view when on wi-fi. As soon as I go off wi-fi, the app can't connect to my cameras. Does the connection go to my system go through Amcrest ? Could the Amcrest system be down?
Re: AmcrestViewPro app
Hello and Welcome to the Forum...
There are a lot of different things that can happen and more info about your system is going to be needed...
Couple of years of use and it not to work out of the blue makes me think there is other things at play.
First how is your Amcrest View Pro setup? Have you changed Phones since you setup your system and had it working before to now not working or is this on the same phone same DVR, same Router, same modem, same network cables, same ISP, same Cell network, are you on a Metered service and now maybe your phone has used up the Normal High Speed Network and has been put on the Throttle mode until next billing cycle!?
I am currently logged into my 16ch Amcrest NVR over my Cell Phones Network and I have total access to my NVR so there isn't anything wrong with that part..
Also no one ever thinks they should ever have to Reboot the Modem or Router but for sakes of total troubleshooting when was the last time you reboot your device?
Also in your post please let me know what your Phone app says after you log in, then click on the left top button, click on Device Manager, Click the the device, then click on the Pencil looking icon (Or Pen) What is your very top line say next to Type:???
