Timestamp on Camera always resets to 2000: Open Port for NTP Server

Post by dljone1 »

I have 2 cameras. One works perfectly all the time. The other one ('FD') has a time stamp that is always resetting to year 2000.

A possible solution that I'm throwing out there is to check the 'NTP' box so that the camera references the NTP server. I have checked this box but it never stays checked. The other camera is always checked. I'm guessing that this is because the default port '123' can't work on both cameras.
Can I set this to another port? If so, what number port should I use (124?).

Is this a valid approach to follow in order for the FD timestamp to always stay current? If not, what do you suggest?
