I have a 4432 series (32 channel, 16 physical ports) NVR and Amcrest Surveillance Pro software that was included.
When in playback mode, some of the cameras incorrectly play back at double speed. In other words, with speed set to 1X, you can see the seconds on the clock ticking by at 2X the speed. If I manually over ride the speed and set it to 1/2X then it plays at normal speed (ie: 10 second recording takes 10 seconds to play). Only a few of my cameras are affected and I have repeatedly checked all camera settings and they are the same on all cameras.
I'm finding this very annoying because I have to constantly change speeds during playback. Even if I change speed on one camera, it doesn't remember that setting. So when I click on the next event to view (same camera) it reverts back to double speed again and I have to do the whole song and dance all over.
As an alternative to offering a solution, does anyone know of another software package that will control the Amcrest NVR? You know, one that doesn't suck?
