I've read through a number of forum entries and also some deeper Amazon reviews. Can you please confirm is the below is correct? Many thanks.
The NV4108 only has network socket. I am planning on having four (4) POE cams connected to a POE switch. The POE switch will then be connected to a standard network switch...which in turn is connected to the primary router.
The NV4108 (with its single cat5 socket) will also be connected to the standard networking switch.
Diag below (ignore periods for formatting). Sound alright?
Thanks,
kculb

Re: NV4108 and POE Switch - Quick Question
Hey kculb, I am also planning on going POE with this NV4108.
With your setup, is the data written to the HDD via ethernet? (No bandwidth usage?)
Are you able to see your cameras remotely through internet (App)?
Thanks!!!
