Hi,
Just got my new IP2M-842EW POE camera. How do I factory reset if I'm ever locked out? There is no wires to reset (only network connection and DC connection). On another model I have (IP2M-842W), there is 2 bare wires tt you short together to reset. None of this here. And no rest button anywhere.
If It's inside the camera, I would like to know the procedure to reset, just in case.

Unfortunately this model does not have a reset button or wire outside.
You need to open the front cover of the camera with the IR LED board and inside of the main board, on the top left, you can find two brass ports as seen in the image below. Please take a wire and join the two brass ports together for 30 seconds. This will reset the camera.
