IP address resets on IP2M822E
IP address resets on IP2M822E
Whenever I loose power to my IP2M822E resets the IP address to the default. It may happen randomly also. I have it set as a static ip address in the settings. Any ideas?

Hello chabon ,
Please try using a static IP outside the range of the DHCP of your router and see how it works.

Thanks Melvin, tried moving static IP outside DHCP range but didn't work, defaulted back to 172. something.
Used the MAC to assign an IP reservation from the DHCP server and that is sticking now.

I am having the same issue and I'm about to return these things labeled as junk.
I set a static IP in the camera and in my router with the MAC tied to it OUTSIDE of the DHCP pool. One of the cameras reboots on it's own and reverts back to an IP outside of my subnet and sometimes to an IP in my subnet but outside of the DHCP pool. It's completely random. The other two were going crazy for a while but seemed to have settled down BUT if I do a test and reboot or disconnect from my switch the revert back to some random IP.
I've looked for a firmware upgrade under support but I only see 2 upgrades available for different cameras. This model is not listed under and of the documentation either.
To say the least I'm pretty aggravated having wasted two days of my life messing with this.
Tech support didn't even know what to do. I was going to run my cables this weekend but I'll be damned if I run them then have to pull them back out to return these things.
