My Amcrest cameras deliver incredible videos with snapshot image detail via email being superb during the daytime. However at night all snapshot images are white in color. I have to guess what type of animal I see purely by the shape. Is there some setting that I should change or is this what other people are seeing as well?
I have an Amcrest NV2108E NVR on the most current firmware.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions you have.
Images captured at night are white with no detail
Re: Images captured at night are white with no detail
If there's not enough ambient light, then you need infrared night vision and it will only be in black and white. If there is enough ambient light, then you can turn off night vision and see color.
If you must use night vision, play with the settings (Setup/Camera Configuration, choose night profile) so that you get the best image.
