Foscam Cloud

[agraeff]

I have 3 Foscam IP cameras on Foscamcloud.net. I just received a nice Amcrest 3MP POE camera that I was hoping to add to my other 3 on Foscamcloud.net, however Amcrest support tells me you can't place an Amcrest cam on foscamcloud.net, nor can you place a Foscam camera on the Amcrest cloud.

Tell me it ain't so.

What are other people doing. I only got the Amcrest because of a promo from Foscam and Amcrest appears to be a Foscam company. What gives?

Thanks,

I got a note back from Amcrest support letting me know that while the foscam cloud only supports Foscam camera's, the Amcrest cloud supports both Amcrest and Foscam cameras.

The big difference is that you can get 4 cameras supported on the foscam cloud for $8.00 and the Amcrest cloud charges $6.00/camera, so a significant pricing difference.

Are there other sites folks use for hosting IP camera videos and stills?

Thanks,
