Hello,
For the sake of security and privacy, I want to lock down all external connections made from this camera to the internet (because it allows the device to be hacked). I do not use amcrest cloud storage and have not used the p2p method to set up the camera.
1/ Can you please list the settings I would have to use to disable all external connections?
2/ I am looking for a setting to disable p2p under Setup->Network but did not find it. How can I disable p2p?
Thanks,
Rk

Re: Disabling p2p on IPM-721S
Hello rkiyer2001,
Please go to set up > Network > TCP IP and click on 'P2P' and you can find the option to disable 'P2P'.

You will find that even following that advice will not stop the camera from speaking to the outside world. This thread is relevant. https://amcrest.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... 6268#p6268 Amcrest has yet to adequately explain and from a privacy standpoint, that is completely unacceptable.
