So last week, a burglar hit a bunch of vehicles in my neighborhood. He broke into 4 cars (including a cop car), stole one, and stole a firearm from another. He attempted to break into my vehicle but was unsuccessful because it was locked. Pretty brazen, considering that there is a camera directly over where the vehicle was parked.
The video got no pictures of his face because he blinded the camera with a bright flashlight held next to his face and directed at the camera as he approached the house. All I have is a video of his body and the camera is blinded where his head is.
Is there some way of beating this? Perhaps a second camera pointed at the same area, but far enough away that it would take a second light to blind both? Will the tamper settings help this? Any ideas?
Blinded by burglar
Re: Blinded by burglar
That sucks, the ingenuity of these people, clever enough to think of that, but not to get his own things legally like everyone else!!i would say another camera....maybe out of sight, different angle/placement...good luck.
Re: Blinded by burglar
Install a fake camera, hide the real camera as best as you can. This brings up a thought. We need outdoor hidden cameras. Google searching, I see that there are not many on the market.
