I have the AMDV960H8-8B and set up the email under alerts. I set motion detection and I am getting one email every 10 minutes with only one picture. How do I:
1) only get emails when motion is detected?
2) get pictures from more than one camera?
I can't find any solution in the manual or online. Any help will be really appreciated!!

In the settings of 960H under Alarm settings there is a tab that says 'Action'. Here you should check the 'Record channel' option and select the correct channel. The same process needs to be followed for snapshot. Choose each channel number from the top and under 'Action' set the record and snapshot option for correct channel. For eg, select channel 2 and select and record and snapshot for channel 2.

Hello jimmy2shoes,
Under alarm settings you can choose which channel you are going to set up the actions for. There is a drop down to select the channel. So you can either select one channel at a time and under action check the option send email or copy the settings and apply the same settings for all the channels.
