I recently bought a Amcrest NV4108E (last night). I put in a 2TB hard drive and have 3 camera (2 Amcrest & 1 Foscam) working fine and recording motion. Seems to be working fine.
I have a USB drive connected to the NVR and I also have FTP configured in the network section. Neither of those show up in the storage area. There are HDD groups apparently and also it looks like there is a list (scroll bars on side) in the Local storage section, but nothing shows up there.
What I would like to do is record motion to the HD and snapshots to FTP.
Possible?
The devices seem to work nicely so far for the money, but the documentation is terrible.
